My Project

The medical supplies I am requesting, including gloves, an EKG kit, and a first aid blood kit, will make a critical difference in my students' learning by providing hands-on experience in healthcare and emergency response. These tools will allow students to practice real-life medical procedures, bridging the gap between theory and practical application. By engaging with actual equipment, students will develop confidence, critical thinking, and the technical skills necessary for careers in the medical field, all while emphasizing the importance of mental health in high-stress situations.

The goal of this project is to create an immersive learning environment where students can explore healthcare practices in a safe and engaging setting.

This experience will not only deepen their understanding of medical procedures but also raise awareness of the mental health challenges that healthcare professionals and patients often face in high-stress environments. Through this project, I hope to inspire students to pursue careers in healthcare, promote empathy, and develop their problem-solving skills.

What makes my students special is their passion for learning and their eagerness to explore careers that make a difference in their community. Many come from under-resourced backgrounds but possess a deep commitment to their education and a desire to help others. This project will empower them to turn their passion into action by giving them the tools they need to succeed.
