Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Please help us bring technology into our classroom that will help enhance our learning in engaging ways!

My first grade classroom has a very diverse group of students.

They vary in ethnicity, home language, and socioeconomic status. My class has some English Language Learners whose speaking ability in the English language can vary. But one thing they all have in common is that they all come eagerly to school to learn.

School exposes my students to experiences and knowledge that their home lives cannot always provide. My school is a Title I school. My students don't always have access to the best resources that are needed to learn.

As their teacher, it is my goal to provide my students with the best education possible and to help them succeed academically so that they will become productive citizens who return to their community. With your help, we'll be able to reach these goals that could change the lives of my students forever.

My Project

This printer will give my students a sense of accomplishment in their work as they are learning to write and express themselves. Having essential equipment like a printer available is a must to be technologically smart in this era where there is an abundance of competition.

Seeing their work will give my students a sense of pride in what they are doing.

Being able to print their work and correct it, add other thoughts, change their wording, or even add pictures will give them a sense of pride in what they are learning. Being able to show their work to their classmates is part of their social emotional growth.
