My Project
My middle school students absolutely love Family and Community Science (FACS) class. Cooking meals and baking is their highlight of their day. I believe that our students deserve to have working equipment at every kitchen station so that they can be successful cooking and baking in the classroom and feel empowered to go home and cook and bake for themselves their families and their friends.
Our students take care of our kitchen equipment, but some of it needs to be updated like the bakeware, ramekins and utensils.
It gets a lot of use during the day with 150 students cooking a meal. Students are so appreciative to have the equipment they need to cook great meals!
