My Project

Our Outdoor Ed class gives students an opportunity to experience the outdoors. Many students don't have the resources to purchase a kayak or they don't have family members that will take them to a lake. We take multiple field trips that involve the use of kayaks to lakes or on our campus pond. We provide a training lesson to help students learn the basics of kayaking and then we jump in the water and go for it! This gives opportunities that might otherwise not be options for many of our students.
