My Project

Environmental Biology Labs will enhance our unit on the impact of pollution and climate change on ecosystems. We will go on field trips to analyze the health of local ponds and these kits will enhance our ability to collect more meaningful data. The kits will also provide our students with essential lab skill practice.

Our classes serve both general education students and students with IEPs including students in the NEST program.

The powerful hands on experiences will both inspire and inform. Our curriculum is designed to help students use their knowledge of biology to be changemakers in society. As such each unit ends with students designing solutions for an environmental problem. These lab kits will strengthen their understanding in order to make stronger more authentic conclusions.
