Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is full of gifted and talented kindergartners that are very eager to learn each morning that they walk into our classroom. They come from all different kinds of backgrounds and countries. A lot of them are new to the United States and they are always excited to experience new things.

Their excitement and curiosity inspire me to make the best educational experience for them each day.

We've created an encouraging little family in our room and work together to learn, grow and lead.

My Project

My students could really use additional technology in our classroom to enrich their learning. These iPads can give them that opportunity to take the learning we do in whole group and get individual practice in the classroom.

This generation of students is always so eager to use technology any chance they get and I believe these iPads will be a great tool to boost their love for learning.

They are surrounded by technology in real world settings and I would love to be able to bring that into our classroom.

These iPads will be used to enrich their reading, writing and math skills. A huge part of using them will be for students to listen to stories so they can hear how a story should be read. I plan on finding apps at different levels to help them with their handwriting, phonics and math skills. These iPads will get to be used as a work station for the students to use daily in their groups. They will also be used to help me work with specific students during our one-on-one time. With this new technology, the sky will be the limit in our classroom!
