My Project

I am writing to kindly request your support for our 1st Annual ENL/Art Show, an exciting new event where all of my students, including our English as a New Language (ENL) students will proudly showcase their creativity, culture, and language growth through visual art. As an ENL educator, I’ve seen firsthand how art can empower multilingual learners to express themselves beyond words. This show will provide a special opportunity for students to share their artwork with families and the school community, celebrating their hard work, imagination, and personal stories.

To make this event a success, we are in need of the following materials: wooden & plastic easels (for displaying student artwork), a large roll of plastic table covering (to protect surfaces and create a clean, festive space), sticker labels (for artwork titles, student names, and cultural/language notes), rope and clothespins (to hang the artwork.)

These materials will help us create a welcoming, gallery-style space in our school gym where families can admire their children’s work and feel connected to the learning journey. Parents will be invited to visit during designated class times, creating meaningful moments of pride and community.

Any donation—whether in-kind or financial—would make a lasting difference. Leftover supplies will be used in future art/ENL projects throughout the year.
