Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love learning. Every day they discover new strategies that will help them learn mathematics. They are engaged and asked relevant questions about our lessons. They do their assignments independently. They work cooperatively and seek help from me if needed.

In my classroom, we believe that challenges bring out our best efforts.

My Project

The use of a document camera is a significant part of our daily lessons. I use it to model to my students how to work the different mathematical problems. The problem is that it freezes and I have to wait a couple of seconds before I can continue with my solutions. I felt I was losing the attention of some of my online students.

By donating to our project, you will not only help improve and increase student attention, focus and participation, but you will also help increase the development of their mathematical skills.

Students will see clear and neat presentations of solutions. Time will be managed appropriately to help diverse learning styles.
