Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items in this project will make a significant impact on my students' learning by providing hands-on interactive experiences that enhance their understanding of math concepts. The 3D shapes will allow students to explore geometry in a tangible way, depending on their spatial awareness and making abstract concepts more concrete. The digital voice recorders will give them the opportunity to explain their thought process, improve their communication skills, and reinforce their learning. The math posters will serve as visual aids, helping students grasp complex concepts more easily in creating a classroom environment rich in math-related references. This project aims to create a dynamic, multi-sensory learning environment that supports diverse learning styles, helping each student achieve a deeper understanding and a stronger foundation in math.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm for learning and their diverse ways of processing information.

Some students thrive on hands-on experience, while others benefit from auditory or visual learning. By incorporating these various tools, I'm ensuring that each student has the resources to engage with the material in the most efficient way for them, empowering them to take ownership of their learning journey.
