Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Reading and English Language Arts to 44 students of varying abilities. They are separated into two classes, a morning class and an afternoon class.

We've been using technology in the classroom throughout the school year, but trying to adapt to this "new norm" of distance learning hasn't been easy for all of them.

Students that didn't have access to technology at home, received a laptop from the school. My students started to learn how to stay connected and navigate through multiple platforms. With the support from their parents and family members, my students were able to pull through their remote learning.

My Project

My students are learning from home and they might have to continue during the new school year. I've been using a laptop that hasn't been very reliable during remote learning. This laptop will help me have a reliable device that will enhance my students' learning.

The MacBook Pro laptop will serve as my main tool to create engaging lessons for my students.

It will be innovative instructions with creative visuals, charts, and videos that my students will use in their learning. The great thing about having this laptop is that these lessons will be not only be used from home, but they will also be used in the classroom once we're back in school.
