This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In Title I schools, where resources are often limited and students come from diverse backgrounds, the need for flexible seating is paramount. Flexible seating in my classroom will accommodate varying learning styles, physical needs, and comfort levels; while also ensuring that every student can engage effectively in the learning process. By providing options such as wobble stools, exercise balls, and alternative seating surfaces, I will be able to empower students to take ownership of their learning environment and promote inclusivity. Additionally, flexible seating encourages collaboration, communication, and autonomy among students, fostering a positive and conducive learning atmosphere essential for academic success in a Title I school.
