My Project

Social-emotional skills are critical for personal development and interpersonal interactions, especially for many young children today. Many students face challenges related to emotional regulation and positive behavior. This gap underscores the need for effective Social Emotional Learning resources to support emotional well-being and constructive behavior. The primary objectives of this project are to implement a range of SEL resources tailored to meet the needs of 3rd grade students. These resources will be used to help provide my students with a variety of tools for emotional reset and regulation.

I would like to add these tools to my classroom to help my students improve emotional regulation and resilience among their peers as well as enhance positive behavior and interpersonal skills.

My goal is to help my students increase awareness and utilization of SEL resources. If funded, this project will enable me to provide crucial social-emotional resources that promote positive behavior and equip them with essential tools for emotional regulation. By investing in SEL, we can aim to foster a healthier, more supportive environment for elementary students, leading to lasting improvements in personal and communal well-being.
