Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students that I serve at my elementary school love to learn new skills and enjoy doing so through great books and games. My students are special because their experiences at school are often unlike what they receive at home.

The resources used to fund this project will enhance whole group, small group, and individual social-emotional learning.

As a school counselor, the books and games selected were carefully chosen with a goal in mind to target specific areas where our students can gain a better understanding and improve their overall social-emotional wellness.

Our students will be enriched with character education including how to manage their emotions, self-regulation, show empathy, and what to do with strong feelings. Our school community looks forward to the benefits the selected items will bring to support our scholars.
