My Project

In our vibrant preschool classroom, we believe that nurturing a child's social and emotional well-being is just as crucial as their academic growth. We are creating a learning environment where our youngest learners can develop skills like recognizing and managing their emotions, understanding others' feelings, building positive relationships, and making responsible decisions. These social-emotional learning (SEL) skills are the foundation for future success in school and life.

We need dedicated materials and tools to effectively support the vital area of social-emotional development for our preschoolers.

We are seeking your generous support to equip our classroom with resources that will empower our preschoolers to become empathetic, resilient, and socially competent individuals.

Engaging picture books that explore a range of emotions (happiness, sadness, anger, fear), friendship, sharing, problem-solving, and empathy. These books will be used during circle time, read-alouds, and individual exploration to spark conversations and build emotional vocabulary.

Sets of emotion puppets with different facial expressions and mirrors to help children identify and understand their own and others' feelings. These hands-on tools will make learning about emotions interactive and fun.

Cooperative games, puzzles that require teamwork, and role-playing materials (e.g., dress-up clothes, play kitchen) to encourage positive interactions, sharing, and conflict resolution.
