This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are brilliant inquirers and learners of literacy. As incoming 9th graders, my students are truly taking their first steps into the world of discourse and wider critical conversations.

Multitudes of my students come from complex literacy backgrounds and in exploring their own identities in these formative years are also establishing their literary identity.

My Project

The production quality of remote learning directly affects the learning experience of students. While nothing directly compares with being the classroom I take steps to transition my home space into the optimal classroom experience. This includes ample lighting as so to make the space inviting for students. Additionally, the use of a microphone ensures that students can access instruction seamlessly and accurately.

By donating to this project, you’ll directly influence students' experiences with learning during these unprecedented times.

Rather than virtual learning being a lackluster alternative, it can be reinvented into an exciting and inclusive adventure.

Enhancing the quality of audio and visuals in remote learning directly increases the accessibility to all students. My students have already shown immense interest in the digital learning environment, I want to afford each of them equal access to this new stage.
