My Project

I am privileged to work with an incredible group of students who continuously inspire me with their curiosity, creativity, and resilience. My goal is to support their mental health and social-emotional development, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed academically and personally. To achieve this, I am seeking support through DonorsChoose to provide Sensory Liquid Motion Bubbles, Heart Pop It Fidget Toys, Greenery Calming Corner Classroom Posters, and a Crayola Dough Classpack.

What makes my students special is their shared background and strong sense of community.

They face similar challenges and show remarkable empathy and support for one another. They are eager to learn and open to new ways of thinking, making them active participants in creating a positive classroom environment.

Sensory Liquid Motion Bubbles and Heart Pop It Fidget Toys will help students manage their emotions and maintain focus. The soothing visuals and tactile stimulation aid in reducing anxiety and improving concentration, providing essential self-regulation tools.

Greenery Calming Corner Classroom Posters will create a serene space in our classroom for students to relax and recharge. This area will promote mindfulness and self-care, offering a retreat from the classroom's hustle and bustle.

Crayola Dough Classpack will enhance art activities, allowing students to express themselves creatively and therapeutically. Working with dough encourages fine motor skills development and provides an outlet for emotional expression.

The primary goals for this project are to enhance emotional regulation, foster creativity, and promote a positive learning environment. Your support will make a tangible difference in the lives of my students, helping them to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
