My Project

In our 5th-grade classroom, we are committed to being respectful, responsible, engaged, and safe learners. To support these values, I am seeking funding for whiteboards and math manipulatives that will provide my students with interactive and hands-on learning experiences. These tools will help transform abstract math concepts into tangible, understandable lessons, fostering a deeper understanding and love for math.

My students thrive when they can actively engage with the material.

With the addition of whiteboards, each student will have the opportunity to solve problems, show their work, and collaborate with peers dynamically and visually. Math manipulatives, such as fraction tiles, base ten blocks, and geometric shapes, will allow students to explore concepts through hands-on activities, making learning both fun and effective. For instance, students will use fraction tiles to visually represent and compare fractions, enhancing their comprehension and confidence
