My students attend a rural, Title One school. We are a small community and our school is growing rapidly. With more students comes more needs. Our supplies are stretched very thin among our growing special education population.
Our students want to be successful.
Having the tools and materials to help them overcome their struggles is vital to making that happen. By giving them hands-on tools to use, books to read at their level, and materials that fit their specific goals, we are taking a huge step to making that happen.
I am asking for some tools to help make specific materials that will help students individually. By using thicker lamination the materials will last longer and the clipboards will help those that need their own visual schedules. The students that I work with benefit greatly from having hands on materials to help them learn and having visuals that show them exactly what we are trying to teach. Having these manipulatives line guides, and floor guides will help them meet their goals so much quicker with more enjoyment and ease!
