My Project

Sensory experiences are crucial, they help regulate their responses to the environment, support learning, and enhancing engagement. Each student is an individual that requires input differently, which can affect their ability to focus, communicate, and participate in daily activities.

Flexible seating options allow movements that can help students self-regular and stay engaged in learning.

Weighted animals provide deep pressure stimulation, which can have a calming and regulate effect individuals. The gentle, even pressure mimics a calming hug, helping to reduce anxiety and stress.

Play putty, bouncy band flick sticks, multi-textured chewable ruler, and sensory tissue boxes provides an outlet to help reduce stress and anxiety, giving the Student the ability to self-regulate.
