My Project

very child learns differently, and sensory materials offer a dynamic way to engage students by meeting their unique learning needs. I’m requesting sensory tools such as tactile objects, fidget toys, weighted lap pads, and noise-canceling headphones to help my students focus, self-regulate, and explore their environment in ways that traditional materials might not allow. These items will support their sensory needs and foster concentration, emotional regulation, and active participation in classroom activities.

As one of my students recently shared, "When I hold something soft in my hand, it helps me think better." This quote highlights the transformative power of sensory materials in enabling students to overcome challenges and tap into their full potential.

With your support, I aim to create a learning environment where every student feels empowered to engage and succeed.

My goal for this project is to integrate sensory tools into our daily routines, helping students develop critical skills like focus, communication, and problem-solving. These tools will also serve as an avenue to promote inclusion, ensuring every child feels seen and supported in their learning journey.

What makes my students special is their resilience and creativity. Despite the challenges they face, they show up every day eager to learn and grow. Each one brings a unique perspective to our classroom, and I’m dedicated to helping them thrive.
