This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Our students thrive when they have the support and resources they need in school and at home. To bridge the gap between home and school, we seek donations for technology and educational kits to foster a more connected learning environment. By providing computer monitors, STEM, electricity & magnetism kits, library book pouches, pencils, and snap circuit kits, we aim to create a seamless learning experience that engages students and involves parents in their educational journey.
With these resources, our students will have the tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
We want to ensure all students can access online learning materials, while STEM and reading kits will provide engaging, hands-on activities that reinforce classroom lessons.
A Computer monitor will be used to help enhance our students' ability to create models through computer programs to make with our 3-D printer. Lastly, the students need pencils throughout the day to sketch, take notes, and write stories.
Creating a DonorsChoose project focused on home-school connection items significantly impacts my students' educational experience. I hope my donors are inspired to support this cause and help bridge the gap between home and school learning environments.
