My Project

The supplies will assist my students in achieving greater success in the classroom by enabling them to emotionally self-regulate. Many of our students face obstacles each day before arriving at school, leading to anxiety, worry, and panic, which can result in misbehavior in the classroom. To help support their emotional needs, I will provide resources such as Henry the Weighted Husky, which offers calming deep pressure stimulation, and Fun Activities to Manage Big Feelings and Make Friends, which fosters emotional awareness and social interaction. Additionally, Board Games with Social Emotional Learning Activities and File Folder Social Skills Learning Games for Autism, Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade will engage students in interactive learning experiences that build emotional intelligence and cooperation.

For students struggling with frustration and anger, Now I Feel Angry: A Kids Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Book about Anger and Frustration Feelings Awareness, Self-Management, and Mindfulness will be a valuable tool for teaching coping strategies and self-regulation techniques.

Calm Strips: Original CLASS 30-Pack Sensory Tools will provide discreet fidgeting options to help students manage stress and maintain focus, while 8 Mini Emotion Plush Toys with A Little SPOT of Feelings Hardcover Book Set will encourage students to explore and express their emotions in a healthy way. Furthermore, the Hanaive 12 Pcs Learning Conversation Cubes Social Emotional Learning Activities Family Dice Game will promote meaningful discussions about emotions and social skills, making it an excellent tool for both individual and group settings.
