Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the only high school dyslexia teacher in our school, I am dedicated to providing the best support possible for my students. To deepen my understanding of dyslexia and improve my teaching strategies, I am seeking funding for essential books on the subject. With your generous support, I can continue to grow as an educator and better meet the needs of my dyslexic students.

Dyslexia presents unique challenges for students, requiring specialized instruction and support.

As the sole dyslexia teacher in our high school, I must stay updated on the latest research, strategies, and interventions to effectively address the needs of my students. I am seeking funding to acquire a selection of books that cover various aspects of dyslexia education. These resources will not only enhance my knowledge but also empower me to implement evidence-based practices that can positively impact the academic success and self-esteem of my dyslexic students.
