Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Personal hygiene plays a significant role in a student's confidence, comfort, and overall ability to focus in the classroom. By providing lip balm, deodorant and lotion, we can help ensure that students feel fresh and comfortable throughout the school day, allowing them to engage more actively in their learning. These essentials can make a real difference in their self-esteem and interactions with peers, reducing distractions related to personal concerns.

My goal for this project is to create a supportive environment where all students have access to basic hygiene products, removing a potential barrier to their success.

Many of my students face challenges outside of school that can make it difficult to afford these necessities. By supplying lip balm, deodorant and lotion, I hope to promote not just good hygiene but also a sense of dignity and self-care.

What makes my students special is their resilience, determination, and potential. They are hardworking, ambitious, and eager to learn despite the obstacles they may face. By meeting their basic needs, I can help them focus on what truly matters—their education and future success.
