My Project

I teach AP English Language and Composition in a low income school in South Brooklyn. I would love to make this class more dynamic for my students by using jenga to teach and practice their knowledge of literary terms, gain a better understanding of novels and various texts through this game, and help improve engagement and conversation skills. My classroom environment needs an upgrade and PPE is limited in our school. Students need access to white boards and poster markers to demonstrate their thinking and explanations to help improve their line of reasoning skills.
