The requested items will help my students to better understand textures and how their senses help them understand the world around them. My goals are for my students to better develop their understanding of the senses and how to use materials related to the senses improving their ability to process information from their senses.
Sensory experiences are important for brain development and motor skills development.
I plan to use the materials at our sensory center in our classroom to help children have more of a variety of materials to use in this area.
My students are hard workers and would put the requested items to good use.
