Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are bright, curious, and incredibly resilient. The majority have recently immigrated to the United States and this is their first experience in American schooling. They have the rigorous task of both learning content and a new language! They deserve all the resources to be able to accomplish their goals!

My Project

An iPad would be essential in connecting with students! It could be used in many different ways. If we are working completely remote students will benefit from having a document camera to learn in real time, or it can be an extra screen for me to support students! If we are working in a hybrid model, on days that we are in school it would be great to have this is as a resource for students to use. My students are learning computer science, and an iPad is a great way to explore alongside them or be extra in case there is not enough. I want students to feel comfortable with technology and will allow students to use the iPad within the classroom whether it's keeping track of time, or even playing music from our class playlist! Please help them incorporate this valuable technology this school year!
