My Students

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela My students love books. Most have discovered how a book can capture your imagination. At the end of the year I have my students write their own book and then they get to read it to a few K-1 classes.

I have a creative and energetic group of amazing children in my classroom.

They are smart, curious and they love novelty. Our school is an arts magnet program. We incorporate visual arts, theater, music and dance into our daily lessons in order to enhance learning.

My Project

Our school was able to purchase iPads for end of the year testing. Our classroom can use five of the iPads every day. We need a charging station so that we can keep the iPads in our room charged. We also need blank hardcover books for the students to create their own books at the end of the year. The Sharpies will be used to decorate the covers.

The students in my class will be able to use the iPads to go to educational sites such as MobyMax and Cool Math Games.

This will motivate students to stay on task and finish their work. The hardcover books that students make at the end of the year will help celebrate their improvement in the writing process!
