This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students learn best when engaged in their learning. What better way to do this than through the use of technology?

I teach a group of amazing second grade students in southern California.

Most of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch. My students come to school every day eager to get their hands on learning. They are like little sponges taking in all that comes their way.

My Project

When it comes to the use of technology in the classroom we have very little. You can enhance my students' love of learning by bringing them to the twenty-first century. My students will benefit from having an ELMO Document Camera, Projector and screen that can be used anywhere in the classroom! Every student will be able to see each and every lesson as it is projected onto the screen. Books will become BIG books instantly making it easier to find focus words, sentence patterns, parts of speech and vocabulary words. The possibilities are endless when you make learning interactive for all and when technology is involved.

Your kind donation will enrich my students' learning by making it a much more fun and interactive process.

It will also put the technology of the twenty-first century at their fingertips!
