This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! They are very eager to learn and experience everything they can. They love to listen to stories and everyday get better at writing their own stories. They are fascinated with animals and learning about animals that lived in Los Angeles area long ago.

My students are all bilingual, not just because some of them come from a bilingual or bi-cultural home background, but because our school is dual language immersion school.

My students spend 70% of their school day, thinking, writing and speaking in Spanish.

My Project

21st century students and the use of technology go hand-in-hand. Integrating technology and education gives students the opportunity to collaborate with each other and the teacher. Gives them access to valuable information, allows to improve their research skills, draft and complete written assignments, essays, math and science research and much. much more.

Technology transforms education and the learning experience.

My students will have a world of resources at their fingertips. One of the most important aspects of having Chromebooks available is that they will also have the possibility to learn about other cultures, places and traditions from around the world. Teaching them tolerance, respect and appreciation for each others differences and individuality.
