My Project

This project provides scholars with the opportunity to showcase their learning from EL class while celebrating their achievements. It also fosters community by giving parents a chance to connect, build relationships, and support one another in navigating challenges related to English as a second language.

Throughout the year, students have envisioned a special event where they can share their favorite foods with classmates.

They took the initiative to plan this evening and will proudly present their native country posters for their families to enjoy.

Additionally, this event is especially meaningful for newcomer students, as it offers them the chance to meet peers they may not interact with daily. As a K-8 school with students across multiple grade levels, this gathering strengthens connections among families and the school community.
