My Students

My Title I ELL students are eager to learn. They need books that they can read and be interested in. These books will help them reach their goals to become better readers and writers.

My multicultural students are representatives from all over the globe.

They come from low income families, in a free lunch Title I school. They are eager to learn but need books at there level to help them gain skills and confidence. My school is a community of learners that works hard to meet the needs of our students.

My Project

These leveled books and sight word puzzles will be used during guided reading lessons. My students will learn skills to help them meet the common core standards. They will learn to read and build their confidence as readers. Beginners will be able to build sight words on their own.

Right now I have no books at this level for my students to explore.

These books will help my students read at their level, thus helping their performance and growth as a reader. My classroom will be a better place as a result of your donation because together we will teach children to read.
