My Project

I am working with four other classroom teachers on an after school program for our English Language Learners (ELLs). Twice a week, these students (many of whom are newcomers to the country and language) may stay after school for one hour and get support in Chemistry, US History, and Math. It's so helpful for them but makes the day long, so we need snacks to get us through!

The snacks donated for our after school program could make all the difference to our ELL students, increasing their attention and stamina.

Having this small yet important need met allows the additional after school support to have a much larger impact. The snacks selected for this project will get us through to June when our program will conclude.
