Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are expected to use models to illustrate, predict, and explain phenomena, just as scientists do. My students love to build models to show their thinking. This process allows them to use academic language, communicate with others, and express their ideas in science. Unfortunately, our class has limited access to basic building materials. We need your help.

Your donation will provide our class with much needed materials like Legos, masking tape, and craft rolls which will allow them to develop and create experiments, build models to test their ideas, and collaborate with others.

Please support my students' learning of scientific concepts.
