My Project

Friendship bracelets are fun to make and fun to give away. If this proposal is funded, my students will have many opportunities to make friendship bracelets and learning bracelets. I am asking for many beads in all different colors and lots of beads with letters on them.

Giving each other friendship bracelets will help my students feel special.

They will teach my students a way to be kind to others. In addition to using these beads to make friendship bracelets for others, my students will make bracelets for themselves to learn the alphabet and then later sight words! These bracelets will reinforce letters/words taught in class and help my students with their fine motor skills.

They will have so much fun making bracelets for friends and for themselves. This will be the first time I am trying out this idea with my students. I hope that it will be funded and my students can have fun learning with friendship bracelets.
