My Project

We live in an era where technology has become an important component for our students in education today. I strongly believe that providing the necessary tools at an early age, will expand their limited learning opportunities and gain the knowledge they need to meet the expected standards. The Apple iPad, pencil and cover will allow my students and me to access the educational STEAM websites that reinforce our skills and enable higher-level learning. These important tools will help create authentic learning experiences and build a successful learning community in the class.

Scaffolding our students' learning is essential to their academic success - now and in the future.

I will use the Apple iPad and pencil to provide engineering and technology lessons in small-group instruction with my students. Our core curriculum is all accessible online so these resources will help provide small-group learning opportunities to differentiate the learning. I will be able to demonstrate and model for students to follow along and complete their assigned tasks. The tablet will allow me to give students differentiated opportunities to work on apps that teach about the Engineering Design Process. Students will be able to be more efficient with planning, designing, and implementing their ideas. I would love to have this technology to make sure they are college and career-ready.
