My Project

As a teacher in a bilingual classroom, it is important to offer visual materials to assist with comprehension and engagement. My students are eager to learn but often find simple black-and-white materials uninviting. I want to allow my students to experience learning in vibrant colors.

Improving student engagement is my priority and colorful visual materials will help meet that need.

I plan to use the color printer to upgrade the anchor charts we display in the classroom. I want to create colorful labels in English, Spanish, and Creole to activate students' language acquisition. During different activities, I can also create worksheets on colorful paper to encourage their interest in the activity. The paper will also serve as an option for different art activities in the classroom.
