My Project

I love how diverse my students are. They all come from differing backgrounds (differing languages, abilities, needs, socioeconomics) and different communities. More than half my students take the bus early in the morning to get to our school. I love their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. They bring so much life and background knowledge and I love that we can all come together and grow.

Because of the diverse needs of my students, I try to find alternative ways to teach and support reading, math, and science.

I have found that using interactive activities helps support learning. Using technology provides accommodations that help support the needs of my students.

I know this Mac book will help me more effectively engage my students. This is a great laptop with plenty of RAM and a great processor.

Now, more than ever, is it important to have the latest technology in order to engage students in 21st century skills, including the most current resources.

Currently, I am using an older laptop which doesn't allow me to update and use the necessary capabilities for tackling tasks. I will be using this Mac book to create lessons that are engaging. I will use it to model and teach how to use the different engaging educational applications and activities so that my students will be prepared to use the most current technology. I can use this to provide immediate feedback to my students as they submit their work. This MAC book is going to help me inspire my students to tackle their assignments.
