My Students

I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist in a Title I elementary school in a low-income community with a majority of English Language Learners. My students are hard-working, respectful, and eager to learn and grow.

Speech and language therapy gives them the confidence to become more effective communicators and to access the academic curriculum.

My goal is to provide my students with effective speech and language therapy in a warm and supportive environment.

My Project

When my students participated in blended learning last year, I acquired some high-quality digital resources with donors' generous support. Students loved being able to interact with the activities whether at home or in the classroom and it helped them stayed engaged throughout the lesson.

I would love to expand my resources and continue to engage students with more interactive, hands-on activities.

These resources will not only promote participation and facilitation of speech and language skills in a fun way, but also help me differentiate and accommodate diverse learning abilities and styles.

Your contribution will help me purchase exciting digital activities that students can interact with at home with their parents or in the classroom, such as interactive PDFs, Google Slides, and Boom cards. I have no doubt my students will be able to continue their love for learning!
