Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are four sections of graduating eighth-graders. I have both blended and remote-only students. Middle schoolers are full of life and energy and are eager to learn more about the world around them. As their science teacher, I hope to open their eyes to the passion and fun of science through my class! At this age, I am starting to build in them a foundation for science that will carry them through high school and beyond. Help me achieve my goals of opening doors for my students.

My Project

This year has been very challenging for us all given the remote learning environment- engagement has particularly been difficult for students who are getting used to remote instruction. An iPad would really help me to make my lessons more interactive and engaging for the kids.

Being able to write and annotate is key!

and the iPad would allow me to do this for my students. Having a touch screen and a second device will make a world of difference when presenting lessons and I hope that I can improve the experience for my kids with this iPad!
