This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reading a book can be pretty difficult when you are an early reader or cannot yet grasp the concept of reading. For many of my students on the spectrum, visual supports are needed for communication. Books need visual supports so my students can follow along with the book. Thankfully, many of these classic books come with storytelling pieces to help my students engage as the book goes on . The storytelling pieces are perfect for my students to show who the characters are and what happened first/last when they cannot communicate.
