Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the pleasure of having 24 bilingual students in my classroom. Many of them are new to the country. All of them are at different stages of second language learning with most of them at the beginning and emerging stages. All of my students read below grade level in both their home and English language.

A hundred percent of my students come from low income or no income families.

My students are very enthusiastic about learning. Every day I communicate through ClassDojo, Google Classroom, and phone calls. Even though remote learning is new for all my students, they try their very best.

My Project

For this project I am requesting a $100 gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers to buy engaging, and fun resources to keep my students learning. The resources I can buy at TpT will allow me to meet to differentiate the tasks to meet my students' needs.

Every teacher spends so much out of their own pockets for resources and spends so much time creating resources.

As a teacher, I am able to get inspiration from other teachers, and TPT allows you to support the teacher that created the idea as well. Having access to select appropriate content for my students from over 4 million teacher-created resources would be extremely helpful at this time. Thank you so much for reading!
