Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The negative impact that the pandemic has had on our student learning is evident now that students are back in the classroom. We noticed a big impact in the area of foundational reading skills in our Kinder to 3rd grade students.

Even though a lot of my intervention activities center around visual and auditory learning, I am lacking kinesthetic resources that will help the students organize and make sense of what they are learning.

Using sand trays while they practice letter-sound correspondence or letter formation will create a strong visual, auditory, and physical connection that will help retain learning.

The resources I am requesting will make learning engaging and complete the trifecta of learning. See, hear, do!
