Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting the following materials and supplies for my kindergarten classroom, all of which have a specific purpose in supporting student growth and engagement.

A treasure box is an essential tool in my classroom, as it serves as a powerful motivator for young learners.

Kindergarten students thrive on positive reinforcement, and nothing excites them more than the opportunity to choose a prize from the treasure box after completing their work or demonstrating positive behavior. The treasure box encourages students to stay focused, work diligently, and feel a sense of accomplishment. It is a fundamental part of creating an environment where students are motivated to do their best.

In addition to the treasure box, I am requesting manipulatives for “play” time in the classroom. Hands-on activities like these provide students with the opportunity to engage their imagination while building critical skills such as fine motor coordination. Manipulatives not only make learning fun but also encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. They are a wonderful way to keep students engaged while fostering essential developmental skills.

Thank you for considering these materials, which will undoubtedly enhance the learning experience for my students. Your support helps create an environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop a love of learning.
