My Students

I teach at an IB K-8 magnet school with creative, open-minded, motivated Kindergarten students that will need engaging activities/lessons to support them this year as we will be doing more one on one activities due to COVID. These students are new to the school and having everything they need to make them successful for their first school year would make it a great one!

Students are coming into our school from all different experiences and backgrounds.

As a teacher, I will need to meet the needs of each student through technology in order to make them successful for their Kindergarten year.

My Project

Since COVID, my Kindergarten students have to use individual materials. This is a lot more copies! This means that I have to make copies of manipulatives and activities for each student individually. Traditionally, we get to share these items; however, that is not the case this year. A color printer will help me by making prints of lessons that will be engaging to the students. They will be able to have more hands-on activities that are inquiry-based and keep them engaged. The printer will provide opportunities to help the students learn and grow in their first year of school.
