My Students

A school is a safe place for my students. Most of them are English Learners and have experienced some sort of trauma in their lives. At school, they feel safe and loved and happy. They get excited about the littlest things!

My Project

To create engaging phonics centers, we will need pocket charts, stamps, letter tiles, and lots of resources from Teachers Pay Teachers that are specific to first grade phonics. Students will participate in word sorts, word building, and other phonics games during center time.

Center rotations is there favorite time of the day!

By participating in engaging phonics centers, students have fun while practicing and reinforcing the phonics skills that they are working on for the week.

By providing us with TPT credit, we will be able to change the centers out frequently to keep them new and engaging. Thank you so much for your generosity!
