Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in a community with a large population of underprivileged students. Most of them struggle with even putting food on the table. They would greatly benefit from hands-on activities.
I enjoy watching them light up each time there is an a-ha moment and hearing me well will enhance that.
My Project
Teaching in large classes with 45 plus students - high schoolers can be difficult. Making sure the students can actually hear me so that they receive quality education such that they are not left behind.
The use of enhancement techniques ensures that our students will know their material and become part of the ever changing world in a positive way.
Listening clearly to me will allow for students who are positively engaged in the process of learning. Students who are unable to hear a teacher can result in disengaged students
