Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The large magnetic whiteboard will transform our classroom into a more interactive and engaging space. It will allow us to create dynamic lessons, display bilingual vocabulary and grammar, and engage students in group activities. With this whiteboard, my students can easily visualize and manipulate language concepts, improving comprehension and retention.

My goal is to enhance student participation and understanding in our dual language program by providing a versatile tool that supports both English and Spanish literacy.

I aim to create a classroom environment where students feel empowered to interact, collaborate, and explore language in new ways.

My students are bright, resilient, and eager to learn despite the challenges they face in our Title 1 school. Many are English language learners who bring a rich diversity of experiences to our classroom. They are motivated to become bilingual and bi-literate, recognizing the value of mastering both languages. With the right resources, they have the potential to achieve great things!
