Engaging Math: Whiteboards, Supplies, and Snacks for Student Success

Help me give my students magnetic whiteboard graphs, supplies, snacks, and classroom essentials for a more engaging learning experience.

My Project

I love my students because they are resilient, hardworking, and eager to learn, despite facing many challenges. They come from a low-income district where resources are limited, but they never let that stop them from striving for success. Every day, they show up with a positive attitude, ready to tackle new math concepts, and they push through difficult problems with determination. It is my privilege to help guide them toward realizing their full potential.

The specific items I’m requesting will make a huge difference in their learning.

Magnetic whiteboard graphs will allow us to visualize math concepts in a more interactive and engaging way. Laminating pouches will help preserve important materials so students can reference them throughout the year. A giant classroom timer will keep students on track and make our lessons run more efficiently, while the whiteboard erasers and magnets will encourage collaborative learning by enabling students to work together easily on the boards. Band-Aids and snacks will address the basic needs of students, ensuring they feel cared for and ready to focus on learning.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and confidence in math. With the right tools, my students will have the opportunity to explore and understand math in ways that feel engaging and fun.

What makes my students special is their unwavering dedication to learning despite the obstacles they face. They may not always have access to the latest resources, but they never give up. This project will provide them with the tools they need to succeed and make their learning experience more meaningful and enjoyable.
