My Students

I have eleven, amazing students with special needs, ranging from eight to ten years old in a self-contained classroom. They have autism and learning difficulties. These kiddos are near and dear to my heart because I have an adult son with severe special needs. He's my inspiration and the reason I became a teacher.

My Project

I have found two amazing sets of highly-rated math activities and projects for second and third-grade-level learning on the Teachers Pay Teachers website. I'm so excited to try them with my students! These math bundles align perfectly with my district math curriculum and cover over 20 math topics.

Students with learning difficulties retain more information when given fun activities that engage and challenge them!

I would love to use fewer worksheets and instead incorporate more project-based learning into my small math groups. The children would be so excited to come to the math table! Will you help us?
